Digsby Stuck in Local Mode

If your Digsby Client Application gets stuck in Local Mode and won’t connect no matter what… ..you may want to try fixing it by doing the following:

  • step1: Uninstall and then reinstall. Did it work? If not then go onto step2.
  • step2: Go to “C:\Users\[YOUR_USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\” and delete the Digsby folder. Go onto step3.
  • step2: Go to “C:\Users\[YOUR_USER_NAME]\AppData\Roaming\” and delete the Digsby folder. Go onto step4.
  • step4: Install Digsby and you are now able to connect.

Did this work for you too?

I did all the of the steps above and digsby now will not even connect, let alone connect and run in local mode. Any suggestions?

@Justin, did you complete step 4 at the end?
A reinstall from http://www.digsby.com/download.php will finish it off, then enter your username and password if needed once all done.

Another thing could be the connection settngs, perhaps it’s on an incorrect proxy?
